Refund Policy

What happens if you pay for Sinaps and want your money back.

In effect from 1 September 2026

During the beta, there is nothing to refund

Sinaps is free from 1 September 2026 to 31 October 2026. There is no card on file, no trial that converts, and nothing to charge back. This policy describes what will apply if and when paid access starts.

How access will be sold

Access will be sold as a pass covering a defined study period. It does not renew automatically — when it ends, it ends, and you decide whether to buy another.

Payments will be processed by a payment provider acting as merchant of record. That provider will be the seller on your receipt, and refunds are issued through them, to the payment method you used.

Asking for a refund

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, unless you have already worked through a substantial part of the material the pass gave you access to.

Write to hello@sinaps.md from the address on your account and tell us the order reference. We aim to answer within three working days. Refunds normally reach your payment method within 5 to 10 working days after we approve them, depending on your bank.

If Sinaps was substantially unavailable for a long stretch of your pass, or if the material you paid for was not delivered, tell us — we will refund you regardless of the 14 days.

When we may decline

We may decline a refund where an account has been shared, or used to extract content in bulk, in breach of the Terms of Use.

This policy does not affect statutory rights you have as a consumer where you live.
